....we will begin the induction process! Much to my surprise my contractions slowed way down so we did not end up at the hospital yesterday, but we had our final check up earlier this morning and I am now dilated to a 3 and 80% effaced. I jokingly told Dr. Rost that I would gladly walk myself over to the hospital right then and drink the Pitocin, and he responded with, "Well, I haven't been over to Labor and Delivery yet today but let me see what's going on.....maybe we can get this started today!" Unfortunately they had already delivered about 8 babies and were clearly swamped, so we are still scheduled to go in at 5:45 tomorrow morning. Hopefully we will meet little miss by early/late afternoon!!! As David has said before, we'll keep updating the blog and truly appreciate all of your love and support!!! WISH ME LUCK!!!
PS
For all of those who are wondering, as of today's visit I officially have 26 pounds to lose! Bummer.... :)
How exciting! Hope you guys can get some good rest before then. I actually had the same thing happen to me, contractions started, had them for about 11 hours, then just stopped, crazy second babies!!! Good luck tomorrow, you will be in our prayers!
