Long Day

Today has been a really long day (for those of you who don't already know, David was laid off this morning) so I thought I would end the day with the two things that make me smile no matter what!

Uncle Jason and Aunt Mellissa took Ella on a field trip to a dinosaur park while their kids were on Spring Break a few weeks ago and SHE LOVED IT!!! Thanks guys!!

I realize that it has been a long time since I've updated the blog, but life has been crazy and apparently it is only going to get crazier!!! I'll try to post more pics later.....

I found some pictures my mom sent to me a while back of me when I was Eden's age. Interesting, huh? I believe she inherited my chubby cheeks. :)

FINALLY!!!

We're on night #2 of Ella sleeping in her big girl bed which means....

....we're on night #2 of Eden getting to sleep in an actual crib! :)

See, if you procrastinate long enough you won't have to buy another crib!

Seriously though, Ella is doing much better than I thought she would. I just told David that I feel a little mean b/c she hardly ever cried when we put her in her crib at bedtime but since we are only on night #2 (and she is in a whole new room) we've had to go back in and hold her for a while to calm her down. It doesn't take long, but it does appear that she is a bit scared. Hopefully she will eventually like her big girl bed as much as she liked her crib.

Happy friday the 13th!

She hasn't had fruits yet, but why not give her mashed potatoes???

We ate dinner at my grandparent's house tonight to celebrate David's birthday and I looked over and saw David feeding Eden mashed potatoes! I was like, "David!!!" But, as you might imagine, she loved them so I decided to let her have a little more. Who knows, maybe she'll sleep longer tonight!!! :)

Apparently she rolled over three times this week for Carisma but I have yet to see any action at home!!
