Quick Update on Ella

Well, we got to the pediatrician's office around 3:45 for our 4pm appointment and walked into a room FULL of waiting patients. Seriously, counting us, there were 12 people sitting on the floor and all of the seats were taken! (I will never do that alone again.)

We were the last ones to see the doc and as soon as she heard Ella wheezing she swabbed her nose to test for RSV. Sure enough, it was positive. They gave her a breathing treatment in the office and sent us home with an antibiotic and a steriod. We're to give her breathing treatments every six hours and come back at the end of the week. (By the way, we left the office around 5:45!!! Eden was going bonkers!)

Please pray for us as RSV is highly contagious and if Eden gets it again, the risk of her having adult asthma doubles. That scares me.

  1. Yikes. There seems to be a lot of RSV and Cedar Fever going around. Everyone I know is wheezing in some fashion or another. I will definitely keep your girls in my thoughts and prayers.

Asthma isn't the end of the world, but it is kinda a pain! (Especially when you get cedar fever on top of it all - while pregnant. Ugh.)

I am so sorry!! The boys had RSV when they were younger, and it is scary. We will be praying for you all!
