9 month old stats

I guessed 25 lbs, but I was wrong! She weighed in at 23 lbs. 8 oz.

BUT SHE WAS 30 INCHES LONG!!!!!

I had to pull out the puffs to keep her happy while waiting for Dr. Shori.

URGENT REQUEST

I am going to make this short and sweet b/c I totally forgot that I wanted to post about this last week and I'm not sure if there is a deadline for signing the online petition.

A dear friend of mine needs our help! Her son has Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) which in a nutshell is a condition that affects the way the central nervous systems receives and responds to information from the senses. His SPD affects all of his senses, but particularly his hearing and touch.

By signing this online petition you are asking that they include SPD in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual which will be published in 2012. The inclusion of SPD in the DSM will foster correct diagnoses and will open doors for further research about the underlying cause of and treatments for SPD. The addition of SPD in the DSM will also facilitate reimbursement for treatment.

The online petition is located at http://spdfoundation.net/dsmpetition.html and literally takes just a minute to complete. You have to provide your name, address, and e-mail, so I understand if you are not comfortable doing so, but before you say no just remember......it might not affect your child's health and future this time, but there just might come a day when it will!!!

More 4th of July pics!

A huge THANK YOU goes out to our dear friends Jennifer and Lucas for letting us crash their 4th of July party! We had a lot of fun (as always!!) hanging out at the pool and eating!

David ran to Albertson's and bought Ella her first arm floaties. Super cute.





Yes - I made her wear a hat for a little while b/c she has my skin!! Aren't you proud dad??? :)

Eden was napping so I don't have any cute pics of her in her bathing suit, BUT, I shall leave you with this FANTASTIC picture of Auntie Ashley sporting the hat!

I hope that you all had a great 4th of July weekend! We certainly did.....well, until I got sea sick and had to leave the lake early. :(

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Hall for treating us (or at least treating David and Ella) to a fireworks show on Lake Grapevine!!!

Once we got out on the water she was able to take it off, which helped her mood a little bit.

The fireworks were scheduled to start at 9:30pm but at 9pm I was about five seconds away from vomiting so I decided to head home with Eden. AS SOON as we got home she was all smiles! Apparently she has her mommy's "boat shaking tolerance." :)

Back to work....my lunch break is over. :(

9 MONTHS OLD

Eden is 9 months old.....AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Her 9 month old check up is next week so I will post her stats then.

I realize that it looks like she has her two front teeth in this picture, but it's just the light glistening off her tongue! She only has her two bottom teeth right now.





She's really smart! I asked her to point to the puppy's nose and she did. JUST KIDDING!!!

We've entered the crawling stage. She does more of the scooting thing right now, but when she wants to she gets up all on fours.

I told Ella to come make Eden laugh and as soon as she got on the floor Eden starting attacking her face!
