Daddy took his girls to the salon......

Today was a very special day for us......we cut Ella's bangs for the first time! We figured that it was time to do something about them since she learned how to blow them out of her face! :)

She was not very excited at first.

Baby Girl #2 Update

David and I just got back from our last "monthly" check-up and I thought I would post a quick update on Baby Girl #2.

Her heartbeat sounds perfect and as far as Dr. Rost can tell, she will probably be around the same weight as Ella (7 lb. 4oz.). Obviously he can't tell anything for sure, but she is measuring on schedule and doing perfect! My blood pressure continues to be low (which is a good thing!) and although I thought I had already surpassed my total weight gain with Ella, I have not. I'm up 11 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight but still have a couple months to go.....so my guess is that I will eventually surpass the 18 pounds I gained with Ella! :)

Anyway, we asked a ton of questions at this appointment regarding the delivery, the epidural, video cameras, swelling......and I still cannot believe that she will be here before we know it! I go back in 3 weeks (which will be my 32 week check up) and then I go every 2 weeks for the 34 and 36 week checks....and then every week after that until she is born!!!

And for those of you still wondering....we still do not have a name picked out! :)

Ok, so we finally figured out how to extract video from our camcorder. Expect to see more...hopefully.

Ella Update

As you can see from the picture below, Ella is feeling MUCH better today! She hasn't had any fever for the first time in 3 days! YEAH!!! For those of you who don't know, Ella was running a fever of about 101.6 all day Monday while I was at work and then later that night (at about 1:30am to be exact) David woke me up and said that her temperature was 105! He immediately threw her in the tub to try and break the fever and I called the on-call nurse who told us what to do for the rest of the night until we could get her in to see her pediatrician the next day. It turns out that she had a virus that we had to just let run its course and I think we are finally over it! HOPEFULLY!

7 months....but feels like 9!!!

It is very strange to be this big at 7 months.....but praise the Lord that Baby Girl #2 is still healthy and on track to be born in just a few more months!!!
