Happy (Late) Thanksgiving!!

I pray that you all had a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving! We just got home from Houston where we spent the holiday with my mom's side of the family. Both girls are now sound asleep, but it might be a long night because Ella has a fever of 101.8 and had to be bathed twice due to a NASTY dirty diaper after her first bath. :( Poor baby.

Anyway, below are some pictures I took while in Houston a few older shots that I never had a chance to post. Enjoy!

My sweet Aunt Linda gave the girls their Christmas presents and Ella LOVED opening them! Thanks Aunt Linda!!!

Ella and Aunt Ashley playing with Eden's Christmas present. (It plays songs...hence Ella's face of joy!)

Ella and Grandma Peel

Little Miss Eden Kate is getting so big and strong!
How precious is this picture? Ella loves her Grandpa Hall!
This picture, however, is NOT precious!! Ella discovered how to "snarl" and she does it ALL of the time! It's a little annoying and kind of embarrassing at times when she makes this face at a stranger.
I shall leave you with this picture :)
Once again, I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!! Let the Christmas fun begin!

Attempt #1 at Taking Christmas Card Pictures

I dressed the girls up in black and white outfits today to see if I would be so lucky as to take one good picture for our Christmas card, but I didn't get any of the two of them that I liked enough to send out. However, below are a few shots that I took and thought you all might enjoy as much as I do. :)

Stay tuned for more Christmas pictures!

18 Months Old

My precious one is now 18 months old. It's hard to believe, but she is turning into such a sweet little girl and it is just amazing to watch her learn new things each and every day.

Any time she sees a dog on the TV she screams and points to it before she starts saying, "Ruff Ruff." It makes me smile. :)

The same thing happens when she sees a baby on TV....except she doesn't make the "Ruff Ruff" sound. :)

I hadn't heard a peep out of Ella for several minutes earlier today so I decided to track her down. When I turned the corner I saw her trying to strap her baby doll into Eden's car seat. So darn cute!!!

Weight: 24 lb. 7 oz.
Length: 34 inches long

I can't wait to see what the next 18 months will be like!

Eden Update

I apologize for the lack of posting this past week. As many of you know, Eden was offiicially diagnosed with colic and that in and of itself makes life difficult.....not to mention my internet connection has been acting up all week and I have been unable to check or send emails. ANNOYING!!! Anyway, David fixed it for me tonight so I thought I would post a few pics of Eden before I head off to bed.

Eden's first attempt at the Bumbo seat

OK....so maybe we'll wait a few more weeks before we try that again! :)

Thanks to my dear friend Cathy for stopping by on Saturday for a visit. Not only did she read a number of books to Ella, but she also brought me her sling and Baby Bjorn to try since Eden wants to be held ALL of the time! Good news....Eden LOVED the Baby Bjorn! Maybe now I can get some house work done. :)

He's a natural!
Precious one!
Ella Update:
I took Ella in for her 18 month old check up last week and she is a very healthy toddler! I'll post a picture of her tomorrow if she'll stay still long enough for me to get one.
